October 8 Event!

The Future Scape - an Equity in Real Estate Development Symposium is coming to Queens University-Charlotte on October 8, 2024. The event will be presented by Future Scapes Inc. and The Queens University-Charlotte Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement.

The Future Scape is an Annual Event to fundraise while introducing a big idea that influences and intersects with issues that are being addressed by our region or city impacting the urban environment. The revitalization of neighborhoods demands innovative approaches, intergenerational housing solutions, fresh perspectives on repurposing vacant or underutilized properties, and novel development techniques. Future Scapes is designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of the intricate nature of land-use decisions and the crucial role each individual plays in fostering thriving communities.

Future Scapes Inc., a 501c3 organization, is dedicated to providing more equitable, prosperous, and resilient urban communities in small towns. The organization is also committed to training a new generation of community developers through its Neighborhood Revitalization Youth Consortium, the Neighborhood Urban Redeveloper program, and workshops on Community Benefits Agreements, and collaborating with communities to enhance green spaces in highly urbanized settings.
